A new...well, me!

Hey, there!

So, if you've been coming here for a while (and if you have, then thanks!), you may have noticed that both my blog background and myself have changed. Well, it's nothing but truth and the new design that I am now sporting can be fully seen here:

It's ME!! Again!!
To be frank (not Matt), I've been going through design changes since five years ago when I was first fully realized as a character. I've been on four legs, I've had this crown, another crown and various different designs for my favorite piece of clothing (my diaper!). However, this time, I think that the major changes are done with and if any OTHER edits occur, they'll most likely be on the small side (small especially compared to a strapping, large monster like myself). What I like most about this design over all of the other ones...is probably the hair. Those luscious golden locks that probably remind you a lot of a particular Japanese manga by artist Akira Toriyama. I've always wanted hair, but I could never find a design that really fit me...until now, anyway.

I could talk at length about the different theory that goes into my design, but I'll save that for another time...and I'll probably have some new drawings to illustrate those theories a bit better! If you really want to know more (and see a bigger version of this picture), consider visiting this linkie: New Djermengandre on DeviantArt

Considering my giant foot that's coming at you in this picture, this probably sounds more appropriate than it ever has:

Donate to the Kaiju Combat Kickstarter!

Hey there, Kaiju-enthusiasts!

So, let me get to the point: you should TOTALLY donate to this new kickstarter project. As the title of this entry suggests, it is a brand new Kaiju fighting game (well, if it gets funded it will be). It is being headed up by some notable names in the Kaiju scene, being Matt Frank (super-awesome Godzilla artist), Chris Mirjahangir (Kaiju fan, photographer and one head of the awesome Godzilla fansite, TohoKingdom) and none other than Simon Strange (former Pipeworks employee and head of the Godzilla development team that created the console trilogy that started with Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee; now head of Sunstone Games, LLC.).

I am excited because I've wanted a new giant monster game for a very long time (at least since 2007) and now I can not only possible have it, but I (and others who pledge money) will have a chance to be an integral part of the development process! I won't go into too many details because you can check all of those out on the page, but I will say this: I want this to come to fruition. So get all of your giant monster loving friends in on it as well and donate!

Stomp ya later (possibly online if the game gets funded and released)!
